Over the years the house has gathered small objects of wonder: minerals, agates, geodes, the odd artist's piece. They're there to be looked at — many children are fascinated by them. They're original pieces, and we ask you not to touch them (the agates are fragile).

Sections of pink and blue agate geode in the living-room display cabinet. They form over millions of years inside volcanic rock.

In the double bedroom, a geologist's case with labelled mineral samples (among them barite — the rest you'll discover by reading the labels).

Artist's pieces
A few small sculptures and decorative objects dotted around the house. They're there as details — you'll happen to notice them.
