On the Adriatic the air can be very humid, especially at the end of the day or after rain. In the house there are two Mitsubishi dehumidifiers (one in the living room, one in the double bedroom) that do three different things depending on the mode. It's a machine that makes a certain amount of noise — many guests switch it off because of that, but if you're going out our advice is to leave it on all the same (you don't hear the noise, and you come back to a drier room).
- 01
Switching on
Press the yellow POWER button. The machine starts in its default mode.
- 02
Choosing the mode
The SELECT button: it switches between the three modes with each press. The active mode lights up on the panel.
- 03
COMFORT
Dehumidifies the air in the room. Useful when the air feels heavy and sticky, or when the windows fog up.
- 04
LAUNDRY
Dries laundry hung indoors when there's no sun or it's raining. Put the airer near the machine.
- 05
AIR PURIFIER
Filters the air in the room. Useful for anyone with allergies, or when there's dust in the air.

The little LED · from green to red when the tank is full
At the top of the panel there's a small indicator light: normally it's green while the machine is working. When the internal tank fills with water, the indicator turns red and the machine stops. Until you empty the tank, it won't start again.

Emptying the tank · very easy
Pull the plastic tank out of the side of the machine, empty it into the sink, put it back in. Really simple — it's the move of pull-out, empty, slot back in. When it's back in place, the LED turns green again and the machine restarts on its own.

Tip · switch it on when you go out
Many guests switch the dehumidifier off because of the noise. We understand, but when you go out for a few hours — out to eat, on the beach, about — our advice is to leave it on all the same, even if it seems unnecessary. You don't hear the noise (you're out) and you come back to a noticeably drier, fresher house, especially in summer.
